The overall scope for this project included interior and exterior of the retail space. Menus were the main focus as customers directly interacted with it and the rest of the elements further drove and established the brand and communicated the brand’s ethos. Type lead signage inspired by gallery signage for the art pieces to create an exhibit like feel. The idea was to showcase handmade products and celebrate companies creations. For the wall signage we have opted for the vinyl printing for an easy and precise application due to fine details of the type. The exterior element were typeset by me and hand pained by a sign artist.
The menu layout and production had to be flexible to allow for seasonal changes, hence a simple execution of printed material. The oak slats were chosen to fit within the joinery of the store to create a cohesive sense of the place. To bring visual and functional elements to the menus, I have developed products icons to be easily identifiable for everyone. Those elements were transferable to the large windows and arches that allowed for layered transparency. There icons  served as a tertiary piece of communication for the brands offering.
In addition to the main menus, following the same deign principals, shelf talkers with price points were also developed for all products in the store.
